Yeast Infections and Herbal Combination Cures

For many people the simple natural remedies are best because they use readily available products and they are easy to prepare. Candidate is taken by dissolving the liquid in a small glass of water. The dose is taken three times per day and the treatment should be continued for 6 weeks. 

Candidate is extremely effective and has a strong reputation for helping sufferers of persistent Candiasis.

Candidate costs $36.95 and a shipping and handling charge of $5.99 applies. One bottle will not last for six weeks, so for a full treatment look for a ‘buy two get one free’ deal. 

 

Yeast Defence – Nutrition Now 

Yeast Defence comes in capsule form and is a blend of herbs and acidophilus. The herbs are designed to eliminate the Candida while the acidophilus re-colonises the gut with healthy bacteria. 

The main ingredients are:      Caprylic acid

                                                          Pau d’arco

                                                          Garlic

                                                          Grapefruit seed extract

                                                           Acidophilus 

The garlic is deodorised. The acidophilus is a proprietary blend of rice maltodextrin carrier, FOS (fructooligosaccharides), Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobaccilus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus casei. 

The capsules are taken two capsules together, twice per day.

A bottle of 120 capsules usually costs $16.00, but can be found here for $14.39. This would be a 30 day supply. 

Candistroy Kit – Natures Secret 

This is a two part treatment. One bottle contains herbs and supplements that help eliminate the Candida fungus, while the second bottle contains capsules that help to repopulate the gut the healthy bacteria that will help keep Candida at natural low levels.

The kit costs $21.56 for 60 of each tablet. This is less than 4 weeks supply. 

You can see that the different approaches that each supplement takes, makes comparing them quite meaningless. My view is that  Candidate is great if you simply want to kill a stubborn dose of Candiasis. It will be very effective, but it is expensive and it will need to be combined with something else to restore a natural, healthy bacterial balance in the stomach. 

Candistroy does a great job of destroying Candida and re-populating the gut with a healthy flora. However, six months does seem like a long time to take the treatment, compared to six weeks for Candidate. 

Yeast Defence again takes a combined approach of destroying Candida and repopulating with natural bacterial flora. It does this in one tablet rather than two and this is both convenient and helps make it better value for money than the other two. We have found it slightly less effective than the other two, but it will still work well unless someone has particularly stubborn and persistent problem.
